$V \cdot C=(M S D)-\frac{N}{N+1}(M S D)$
$=M S D\left(1-\frac{N}{N+1}\right)=\frac{M S D}{N+1}$
$=\frac{0.01}{N+1}=\frac{1}{100(N+1)}$
