(i) These forests are thin and the trees found here are stunted as the quantity of rainfall is very less.
(ii) They have long roots to absorb water present deep in the soil and small leaves to reduce the transpiration and conserve water.
(iii) They are mostly thorny bushes so that they are not consumed by animals. Their thorns are green which carry out Photosynthesis.
