Explain manager's role.

The managers of any organization have to play certain roles inside and outside the organization. The roles of the managers are divided into three categories. 
(1) Interpersonal Role : It is the responsibility of managers to stay in touch with people in and outside the organization. They have to provide leadership to their subordinates and also to perform the role of selecting, training and motivating them. Moreover, they have to maintain discipline within the organization. 
(2) Informational Role : Managers have to get data and process information related to various aspects of organizations activity and get it analyzed and summarized. They have to play the role of the spokesperson while interacting with people outside the organization. 
(3) Decisional Role : Managers need to play the role of decision making occasionally. The organization is supposed to choose alternative strategies to improve the work style of the managers and the employees. The managers have to find out novel ideas and initiate new tasks and methods. They decide the required resources ways of obtaining them. They take decisions about allotment of the duties and resources required for them.
