When there is a change in feelings and impulses in life, a person's life becomes disordered and a person's impulses become a danger to himself and society.
In DSM-V it can be said that mood disorder is called bipolar disorder and depression.
There are two main types of mood disorders.
(A) Bipolar-1 distortion:
Bipolar-1 psychosis is known as depressive disorder.
The main symptom of this disorder is apathy and melancholy.
These include difficulty with needs such as hunger and sleep, weight loss of more than 10 kg within three months, lack of appetite, lack of pleasure, feeling guilty, suicidal thoughts or attempts to commit suicide.
If these symptoms persist for more than two weeks, it is called bipolar-1 psychosis.
(B) Bipolar –2 psychoses:
This psychosis is accompanied by melancholy and dementia.
Irritability is more prevalent in a person's temperament.
Cannot fulfill social and professional responsibilities properly due to change in nature.
This person gradually increases the amount of dementia.
Without being overjoyed without cause.
Difficulty concentrating on one thing, lack of sleep, being able to do any tasks on his own.
Repeatedly manifesting such symptoms of dementia and melancholy is called bipolar-2 psychosis.
