Question
Explain the rules of organization in realization.

Answer

  • When different objects are interpreted as a unit or in the form of a group it is called the rules of organization of realization.
  • There are four main types. (1) Equality (2) Proximity (2) Inclusion (4) Complementary
(1) Similarities:
  • When physically similar stimuli combine to form a specific group, similarities are observed.
  • Similarities are found based on size, shape, intensity and quality.
  • E.g. When the national festival, when the orange, white, green clothes are arranged in a certain shape, we consider those stimuli as the same stimuli as a tricolor.
(2) Proximity:
  • Proximity is seen when stimuli arranged close to each other in terms of place and time come together to form a specific shape.
  • E.g. we identify a group of two based on the proximity of two pairs of lines next to each other.
(3) Inclusion:
  • When different stimuli are close to each other and the stimuli are absorbed into each other even though they are different, it is known as a figure.
  • E.g. these marks are found in the symbols of division (÷), and percent (%).
(4) Supplement:
  • The mental tendency to look at it in a meaningful form, despite the empty space between some stimuli, is complementary. E.g. although there is a certain distance between the birds flying with each other in the sky, it emerges as a definite figure on the basis of complementary marks.
