Drucker notes regarding social responsibility of business towards society that any business unit should be i managed in such manner as balance between business unit and interest of various classes of society is maintained. Management should be well aware of socio-economic interest of society. For this purpose they should fulfill following responsibilities towards society.

To perform duty during natural disaster :
During natural calamities like earthquake, tsunnami, cyclone, heavy rain, rock sliding and its destruction, business units should take responsibility of rescue and relief work in co-ordination with government.

Business units should make efforts to be helpful for equal development of all classes of society.
They should create opportunity to all classes of society.
Besides all this weaker section of society should be provided with special opportunities and to become helpful for their development.

Social and cultural growth :
Business unit should make efforts through product and service for maintenance of social and cultural values.
It should not encourage the product which harms health or hurt feeling of people.
It should be away from vulgar advertisement. e.g. Peoples' Feeling is hurt due to mutton shops in Hindu locality.
Social Welfare Activities :
Business units should perform social welfare activities such as bore well of water, eye camp, yoga, worker camp, health and hygiene centre, adult education, girls education, encouragement to sports, etc.
