Human being can not tolerate injustice and accept the theory of equality. Every person expects that those who work in equal amount should be given equal. Right-work motivation gets reduced due to any type of discrimination among employees doing the same amount of work. For example – three employees working in à same company at the same position get 5 % salary hiķe every year. But in the 9th year, one employee gets 15 % hike while the other two get the same 5 % hike. So, the person who got 15% hike will have positive effect but there will be negative effect of this decision on the other two employees.
