Explain the limitations of oral communication.

The limitations of oral communication are as follows:
(1) Absence of written proof: In this type of communication there is no written evidence. So it is not considered reliable.
(2) Difficult to remember: This type of communication is difficult to be remembered for a longer period of time for speaker as well as listener. All people do not have same level of memory.
(3) Possibility of delay: If oral communication turns into unwanted direction then time will would be wasted and there might be delay in exichange of information.
(4) Unsuitable for comprehensive information : When comprehensive information has to given oral communication is not useful.
(5) Wrong interpretations : While giving information if speaker does not posses good oral skill or does not have correct pronounciations then there are chances of wrong interpretations.
(6) Difficult to decide responsibility: If there is any mistake or error while communicating, it becomes difficult to decide responsibility.
(7) Difficulties of Langugae : When communication has to be undertaken before people speaking different languages, it becomes difficult to communicate.
