The need for an adequate organisation structure is felt by an enterprise whenever it grows in size or complexity. Coordination becomes difficult as an organisation grows due to emergence of new functions. Therefore, it becomes necessary for the organisation to pay attention to its structure so that it can function smoothly and face environmental changes.
