Explanation: This line has bean taken from 'प्रणमामि मुदा' composed by the poet Bhagwatiprasad Pandya. In this line, goddess Saraswati is worshipped in order to attain pure fame.
Many adjectives are used to describe the knowledge and qualities of goddess Saraswati. She is the giver of prosperity, the giver of wealth. She is engaged in the work of protection of one secking refuge. Such goddess Saraswati is saluted.
There are two types of fame white (pure) and black. The fame attained doing good deeds is white (pure). But the fame attined by bad deeds is black. Therefore in this line the desire for white (pure) fame is mentioned. In the tradition of the Sankrit literature, good fame is indicated by white colour.
