The Vedas which have not been studied. Maharshi Ved Vyas has compared the Vedas with the paths that become invisible (that are forgotten) due to the arrival of rainy season. The study of the Vedas is necessary to have their eternal effect. That is why it is said that 'स्वाध्यायात् न प्रमदितव्यम्' means if the Vedas are not studied, they become like uneven and invisible path in rainy season. Thus the Vedas are also forgotten if not studied properly.
