વિધાન $II$ : જ્યારે શાખા વધે છે ત્યારે અણુ ગોલીય આકાર ધારણ કરે છે. આના પરિણામે સંપર્ક માટે સપાટી વિસ્તાર નાનો (ઓછો) છે, આના કારહો ગોળાકાર અણુઓ વચ્યે આંતરઆણ્વીય બળો નિર્બળ હોય છે, તેથી ઉત્કલન બિંદુ નીચું હોય છે.
