$\frac{3\text{x}}{5\text{x}+2}=-4$ $\Rightarrow\frac{3\text{x}​​}{5\text{x}+2}=\frac{-4}{1}$ $\Rightarrow1(3\text{x})=-4(5\text{x}+2)$ (by cross multiplication) $\Rightarrow3\text{x}=-20\text{x}-8$ $\Rightarrow3\text{x}+20\text{x}=-8$ $\Rightarrow23\text{x}=-8$ $\Rightarrow\text{x}=\frac{-8}{23}$ $\therefore\text{x}=\frac{-8}{23}$
