✓
Answer
All solid objects on the earth or on the earth's crust are called rocks.
A covering made of solid matter above the earth is called a soft cover which is made of solid matter. Which is called a rock.
Rocks are formed by the combination of different substances. These substances are called minerals. Thus, an organized quantity of one or more minerals is called a rock.
There are three main types of rocks depending on the formation process.
$(1)$ Southeastern rocks $(2)$ Rocky rocks
$(1)$ Southeastern rocks: Due to the warmth of the earth's crust, rocks formed by the reddening of its reddish element magma are called igneous rocks.
Since these rocks originated first, they are also called primary rocks.
Southeastern rocks are divided into three main subdivisions.
$(A)$ Inland sedimentary rocks:
If the magma in the earth's crust settles deeper into the earth's crust, the rocks formed in that place are called inland or subterranean rocks.
These rocks are harder.
Granite is an excellent example of this.
