Question
What is stimulus discrimination in classical E conditioning?

Answer

Stimulus discrimination means to differentiate between stimuli and also learn to respond to one stimuli in one way and the other stimuli in other way. After stimulus generalization, if the food follows after the sound of bell only and does not follow the sound of buzzer, then the dog can differentiate between two sounds. That means the sound of the bell causes secretion of saliva in the dog and not by the sound of buzzer.
