The educated youth unemployment is mainly high because they do not compromise with low wages. Though, the GDP growth rate has increased in the reform period, the reform-led growth has not generated sufficient employment showing that more goods and services are being produced with lesser people, a clear indication of jobless growth. This is mainly because the capital structure of our country is insufficient to give employment to many people. The education system in India is also not job-oriented.
