1. Rectangular settlement system:

3. Cyclic or semi-cyclic (circular) settlement system:
- There are such settlements in lakes, dormant volcanoes, mountain tops or grazing areas.
4. Star-shaped settlement system:
- There are such settlements in places where many roads converge.
5. Triangular settlement system:
- There are such settlements at the confluence of rivers.
6. Subcircular settlement system:
- There are such settlements on the banks of the river that takes turns.
7. Nebular Colonization System:
- Usually there is a high mountainous area in the middle, and then there are such settlements around it.
