                 'Education' is a word with a depth of meaning. 'Education' does not mean only learning to read and write. It does not mean only gaining knowledge. It also means developing different skills to live a positive life. It means developing emotional awareness of the people and things around one.
                 Education is essential for the progress of human beings. It helps an individual to develop to the best of his or her ability. It is like a huge umbrella under which a person learns all types of physical, social and emotional skills and values. Education teaches us the ways of people living in different parts of the world and helps us to develop empathy and understanding. It helps us to have opinions about important matters and be able to express these opinions in a suitable way. Through proper education, we can eradicate social ills like poverty, gender inequality, caste and communal bias and intolerance. In a world torn by wars, a good education will instill tolerance and empathy. Thus, a good education is essential for every human to live a successful life. It is the most powerful weapon to change the world.
