  • Human beings have the threefold power of thought, action and emotion. Perfection of personality is achieved through the full development of these three powers. The three ideal forms of Trividha Shakti are $(1)$ Satyamdh, $(2)$ Shivamdh and $(3)$ Sundaramdh.
  • The definition of ‘truth’ value, value assumption and practicality are as follows:
$1.$ Definition: Truth is the attribute of knowledge about the true form of any subject or thing.
  • A person who desires to acquire accurate knowledge of any subject acquires an understanding of the truth when he acquires accurate knowledge of that subject.
  • Acquisition of truth is the goal of acquiring knowledge and truth is the ideal of acquiring knowledge.
$2.$ Value Establishment: Value is a matter of human freedom of choice. Human beings feel self-satisfaction with the choice of value.
  • When the true knowledge that satisfies the human curiosity is obtained, its power of knowledge is satisfied.
  • Thus, truth is an important human value worthy of choice.
$3.$ Practicality: Truth is the virtue of knowledge, hence the purification and growth of the one through whom knowledge is obtained is essential.
  • If the senses, mind and intellect are tainted with faults like raga, hatred, prejudice, prejudice etc., then one cannot think the truth.
  • The speech and behavior of such a person do not become honest or trustworthy.
  • The uniformity of mind, word and deed is a prerequisite for Satyadarshan.
  • Thus, speaking as one believes and behaving as one speaks is the practical activity of attaining truth.
