$k^{\prime}=\frac{k}{2}$

$T =2 \pi \sqrt{\frac{ M }{ k }} \quad T ^{\prime}=2 \pi \sqrt{\frac{ M }{ k ^{\prime}}}$

$\Rightarrow T ^{\prime}=2 \pi \sqrt{\frac{ M }{ k }} \times \sqrt{2}$
