i. The cycle starts when water on the surface of the Earth evaporates. Evaporation means the sun heats the water which turns into gas.
ii. Then, water collects as water vapor in the sky. This makes clouds.
Next, the water in the clouds gets cold. This makes it become liquid again. This process is called condensation.
iv. Then, the water falls from the sky as rain, snow, sleet or hail. This is called precipitation.

An earthquake strikes without warning. When it does, its power is immense. If it strikes a modern city, the damage it causes is as great as if it has struck a primitive village. Gas mains burst, explosions are caused and fires are started. Underground railways are wrecked. Buildings collapse, bridges fall, dams burst, gaping crevices appear in busy streets. If the quake strikes at sea, huge tidal waves sweep inland. If it strikes in mountain regions, avalanches roar down into the valley. Consider the terrifying statistics from the past 1755: Lisbon, capital of Portugal - the city destroyed entirely and 450 killed. 1970: Peru: 50,000 killed. In 1968 an earthquake struck Alaska. As this is a relatively unpopulated part, only a few people were killed. But it is likely that this was one of the most powerful quakes ever to have hit the world. Geologists estimate that during the tremors, the whole of the state moved over 80 feet farther west into the Pacific Ocean. Imagine the power of something that can move an entire subcontinent! This is the problem that the scientists face. They are dealing with forces so immense that man cannot hope to resist them. All that can be done is to try to pinpoint just where the earthquake will strike and work from there. At least some precautionary measures can then be taken to save lives and some of the property.       We all love birds, don’t we? Birds can surprise us by their flights. There are many birds with flight but some have lost their ability to fly. The ability to fly is determined by shape, size and height. Griffon Vulture is regarded as the highest flying bird (37,000 feet high) followed by common crane (33,000 feet high).
       The Ostrich, Rhea, Emu and Cassowary cannot fly for various reasons. Though they have lost their ability to fly they can run fast on their long, strong legs. Ostriches live in Africa and are found on the grassy places. The Rhea of South America looks rather like the Ostrich but it is smaller and has three toes on each feet, while the Ostrich has only two.
       Emu is the second-largest bird. Next to its relative, Ostrich. Emu is found in Australia. It can sprint at 50 km/h. Cassowary is largely found in Papua, New Guinea. It is omnivorous and can run at 501 km/ h. It is very interesting to read about our flightless friends. Go, explore more!

Convert the following paragraph into a flow chart.
The process of making cement is described in this flow chart. The two raw materials used in the process are limestone and clay. Limestone is crushed, sized, dried and stored in storage silos. In the same way, Clay is washed, crushed, and dried in storage basins. The two materials are mixed in the correct proportion and ground in a tube mill (This mixture is known as slurry) and stirred in a correcting basin. It is then stored in a storage tank. From there, it is fed into the rotary kiln where it is burnt at a high temperature of 1000 to 1700°C. Here clinkers are formed which are sent to a cooler, to be cooled. At this stage, Gypsum is added to the clinker and this mixture is powdered. The powdered mixture is the finished product, cement, and it is sent to the storage silos ready for distribution.
