Question
The process of psychotherapy.
✓
Answer
The psychotherapy process is divided into three main parts.
1. Initiation phase: In this phase the psychiatrist establishes a relationship of mutual trust with the patient.
Which is called Sayujya.
Both the patient and the psychiatrist connect together to the conditions for psychiatry.
They set goals, become aware of costs, limitations, and so on.
Thus, in many ways this phase is important.
2. Intermediate stage: This stage is really therapeutic.
Some problems have arisen due to improper education received by the patient in his life.
Such teaching is replaced by re-learning of a new action.
So that it changes.
This requires the therapist to pay close attention to the patient and ensure trust to maintain the privacy of his or her personal affairs.
3. Final Stage: After reaching the goals set by mutual consent of the patient and the psychiatrist, this stage is to formally end the relationship with the patient.
However, it is important to continue the procedures in the patient's life to guide the problem that arises by implementing the things indicated by the therapist.
Thus, psychotherapy requires special skills and abilities than other therapies.
