Draw a tree diagram that contains the main points and important supporting details from the following text about flowering plants.
Flowering plants are of various types. Herbaceous flowering plants grow, set seed and die within one year;
biennial plant complete their life cycles in two years; Perennials on the other hand, can live and grow for many years once they have been planted. Plants that flourish and flower during the rainy season are mostly herbaceous annuals such as the Aster, Zinnia, and Sweet pea. Of the herbaceous perennials the most common are members of the Daisy family. The beautifully scented Rose and Jasmine are both Woody and Semi-Woody perennials. There are two other types of plants; bulbous plants and aquatic plants. The former grow from bulbs and tubers planted in the ground; examples of this type are Gladiolus and Tulip. The latter, as their name suggests, grow in water, the most exquisite example being the Lotus or Water Lily. Both bulbous and aquatic plants are usually perennials
Prepare a flow chart based on the following information.
The system of classification in which the living organisms are classified into two kingdoms is called two kingdom system of classification. It includes Plant kingdom and Animal kingdom. The Plant kingdom is divided into two sub kingdoms i.e. Cryptogamia and Phanerogamia. Cryptogamia is a group of non-flowering and non-seed bearing plants. It is further classified into, three groups as Thallophyta, Bryphyta and Pteridophyta. The plant body of Thallophyta is thallus. The plant body of Bryophyta is thalloid or leafy and that of Pteridophyta is with organ. Algae and Fungi are included in thallophyta.
Phanerogamia is a group of flowering and seed bearing plants. The plants which produce the naked seeds are called Gymnospermae and the plants which produce the seeds enclosed within fruits are called Angiospermae. Angiosperms are further classified into two groups i.e. Dicotyledonae and Monocotyledonae. There are two cotyledons in seed inDicotyledonae and one cotyledon in Monocotyledonae plants.
Read it and draw a flow chart representing the process described. Rayon is a man-made fibre. It is a reconstituted natural fibre-cellulose. Rayon is made by dissolving cellulose in a solution of sodium hydroxide, or caustic soda. The cellulose is obtained from shredded wood pulp. The dissolved cellulose is formed into threads by forcing it through a spinneret in a setting bath of dilute sulphuric acid. The threads are drawn from the setting bath, wound on a reel, washed, then dried on a heated roller, and finally wound on to a bobbin.
Complete the table based on the following information.
Why do they run? Running. It's painful, tedious, and exhausting. So, why do so many Americans do it? People run for many reasons. Most often, people run to stay in shape and to reach an ideal body weight. Studies show that a combination of diet and exercise is the most effective way to lose weight, as it triggers a loss of body fat and a proportional increase of lean tissue. Running, a rigorous cardiovascular exercise, allows a person to burn an average of 100 calories per each mile he or she runs. Other popular activities, such as biking and walking, only burn a fraction of those calories in the same amount of time. While the average human being burns about 2000-2500 calories a day by simply existing, running 5 miles a day can burn an additional 500 calories, making it a legitimate way to lose weight. Furthermore, running is an easily accessible activity-with a decent pair of sneakers and some determination, anyone can run.
Surprisingly, how fast a person runs has little effect on the number of calories he or she will burn. The most important factor is weight. For example, a 220-pound person running an eight-minute mile burns 150 calories, while a 120-pound person running at the same pace burns only 82. Every person's body requires an excess of 3500 calories in order to gain a pound or a deficit of 3500 calories in order to lose a pound. Thus, 180- pound person who runs 5 miles each day will lose about 5 pounds a month. However, as his or her weight goes down, he or she will burn fewer calories per mile. Eventually, a runner's weight will stabilize. When this will happen depends on how much the runner eats and how far he or she runs.

Another kind of rock is sedimentary rock, formed when rivers brought down small pieces of  material with them as they flowed into the sea. The matter which they brought down with them fell to the bottoms sea, and this sediment was slowly pressed and cemented together by other substances into rock. Th crust of the earth moved; the bottoms of the seas were raised, and when they reached a sufficient become dry land. Sedimentary rocks found in all kinds of places, even on high mountains. Shale, lime and chalk are sedimentary rocks.
The third kind of rock is metaphoric, a rock which has been made by change due to heat. This was form instance, when the lava thrown out by volcanoes affected the material over which it flowed.
