$\rho = \frac{\text{m}}{\text{ne}^{2}\iota}$For a metal, as the temperature increases,$\iota$decreases. Hence $\rho$increases. For a semiconductor, as the temperature increases, number density of electrons in the conduction band increases. Hence $\rho$ decreases.
