Question
मूर्च्छन्त्यमी विकाराः प्रायेणैश्वमत्तेषु :

Answer

The proud of power causes such vice.
In the 5th act of अभिज्ञानशाकुन्तलम् composed by the great poet Kalidasa, Sharangarava says that - People having proud of power developes such vice.
Due to the effect of the curse given by the sage Durvasa, Dushyant is not able to remember his Gandharva Vivah with Shakuntala. He can not even recognise Shakuntala. The king Dushyant, being expert in social traditions expresses his doubt whether he has married Shakuntala or not? At that moment, Sharangarava asked the king whether he wanted to escape from his moral duty or disregard / neglect Shkuntala after his deed? Then Sharangarava says to him - People having proud of power developes such vice. Thus the accuse made by Sharangarava is not false.
